Destiny: live the Law of the Jungle.

Destiny gameplay reveal at Sony's E3 press conference June 10th, 2013.

“Now this is the Law of the Jungle — as old and as true as the sky;
And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the Wolf that shall break it must die.
As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk the Law runneth forward and back
For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.”-Rudyard Kipling (The Jungle Book)

I don’t know about you, but I’m really looking forward to Bungie’s Destiny. Since I first heard about the game I’ve been watching its progress. Every clip and video that releases for Destiny makes the world look more and more amazing. Bungie has announced there will be Playstation exclusive content, however I haven’t heard if there will be Xbox exclusives (or even if Destiny will be available on the Xbox One).

So far the PS3, PS4, and Xbox 360 will get the game on release. Bungie has informed its fans that they will be showing Destiny gameplay on June 10th at Sony’s E3 press conference. Because the game will be shown at Sony’s press conference, I assume the gameplay will feature PS3 and PS4 specific features.

Now a bit about the game itself.

Destiny is a first person shooter based in an ever evolving world (referred to as a living world in one of the promotional videos). The videos that have been released so far have been stunning visuals of a post-apocalyptic Earth. A world where all of humanity is struggling to survive a battle against unknown creatures.

From what I’ve seen, there appears to be armor and weapon customization as well as different weapon types. How those weapon types will play out in the game is uncertain but, as soon as I can get a sniper rifle I’ll be good to go!

The creators have also mentioned that there will be competitive and cooperative gameplay; whether this means there will be open world PvP, I don’t know. We’ll just have to wait and see I guess. Make sure you and your friends are prepared to take on Destiny. Stock up on snacks like it’s the zombie apocalypse, because when your Destiny arrives you won’t be leaving the house any time soon.
