CEVO is Back With DOTA 2!

If you live in North America and you think you can play, here's your chance to prove it!

Yes, you've read that right. The flagship tournament of Counter-Strike 1.6 is now investing its resources for Dota 2. CEVO, or Cyber Evolution, is focused into bringing Dota 2 to the masses with its open tournament for the North American Dota 2 community.

Judging from the banner, there is no League of Legends or Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm in sight. On a side note there's a Team Fortress 2 tournament (that should be fun!).

"CEVO Season 3 will feature $1,500 dollars worth of prize money for Dota 2 split between the two divisions. Each week, teams will play 2 games in the Main division, and one game in the Open division. The season is set to run for 8 weeks of league play. At its conclusion, the top 8 Main teams and the top 16-32 teams in Open will battle in best of three, double-elimination playoffs."

This Dota 2 tournament is open for any team to join, as well as amateur casters who would like to cast the matches for the span of 8 weeks may contact them for more info in their website.

If you think you're good enough for the Dota 2 big leagues, register here.
