The WWE 2K Website has announced a unique method of revealing WWE 2K17 roster members. At this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, WWE portrait artist Rob Schamberger will paint members of the in-game roster at the 2K booth. Schamberger will be painting the WWE Superstars live during all three days of E3, which will run from June 14 to 16.
Schamberger has been crafting WWE paintings for quite some time, with his work currently available on both WWEShop and WWE Auction. He also shows the process of painting Superstars in his regular WWE YouTube series, Canvas 2 Canvas.
So far, the only Superstar to be confirmed for the game is Goldberg, revealed via a trailer during last week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. Those who pre-order the game will receive Goldberg as an exclusive bonus.
WWE 2K17 will be available in October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
