League of Legends, everyone knows it. Whether it be from a friend or from the internet , you know what this game is about.
As in any game you have the good and the bad players. If you belong in the bad category read this article because I’m going to give you 5 reasons why you might suck at League of Legends.
5. You are buying the wrong items
This is a HUGE problem in most low ELO games. Don’t buy the recommended items all the time. I have seen some players buying things like magic resist when the whole enemy team is AD. You have to learn that what items you buy is 100% situational. You should always buy the core items and then look at how the game is going.
Are you winning? Buy offensive items. Are you losing? Buy deffensive items.
Learning how to buy the right items is one of the most important and the most overlooked things in League of Legends.
Oh and one more thing, don’t copy pro player builds. They are, as said before, situational.
4. You don’t know how to use your advantage
Is this situation familiar?
You have just aced the enemy team and everyone just goes back to base, or they go and farm a lane.
This is WRONG!!!
Thie right thing to do would be to use your advantage. Kill dragon. Kill baron. Destoy a turret. You can go back later after you’ve done that. Going back right after you aced is like saying f**k you after someone gave you a cake.
I know that most of the time you can’t do it alone. Try to get your team to do this by using pings or the chat.
3. You don’t know how to play a lot of champions
This I don’t have to explain. Go and play normal games with new champions.
You should know how to play with 4 champions in each role at least.
This makes it harder for the enemy team to ban something you know how to play. It also allows you to play in lanes other than mid (Looking at you Yasuo and Zed or feed players).
2. You are toxic
Don’t be toxic, just don’t.
Don’t be that guy that flames when he can’t get his role. Don’t be that guy that spams “gg surrender at 20” after the enemy get’s first blood. Don’t troll for any reason.
You won’t improve at the game by doing that.
There is no positive side to being toxic.
There is no positive side to being toxic. You are going to play worse, your teammates are going to play worse and you are going to get banned. Your teammates can be bad from time to time (or all the time), but that does not mean that you get to be toxic.
Try to help your team in any way you can. You are going to win more games.
1. You don’t ward
Let me make something clear, everyone should ward, not just the support. The top laner should ward, the jungler ward, the mid laner ward, the ADC ward and the support ward.
And no, not only in the first 10 minutes of the game. If you can’t remember to buy one every time you go back upgrade that ward trinket you’ve got. The regular ward you get from the trinket just ain’t gonna cut it.

Wards give you vision of the map. You could flame at your teammate because he died in your jungle, or you could ward there to prevent it from happening.
Wards are by far the best item in the game and you should never leave the fountain without one.
