Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition Coming to Next-Gen Consoles

Remember Sleeping Dogs? Well it's coming back out as an upgraded, updated, and more exciting version of its former self!

Unconventional cop Wei Shen is back to run the streets of China - with an upgraded look. That's right, the fabulous open-world game Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this fall. According to IGN.com, gamers are in for upgraded visuals and different packaging, but that's all they know thus far. Can we expect pre-order exclusives and new DLC? Most likely.

For the original Sleeping Dogs, which came out in 2012, there was a multitude of DLC including a special Halloween-themed mission called Nightmare in North PointAccording to Joystiq.com, the game will also be available on PC and have all the same DLC included. Pre-ordering the game gets you a limited edition art book. We don't even have all the details yet and there's already some great things to look forward to!

Best of all, there's word of a sequel to Sleeping Dogs rumored as Triad Wars. According to IGN.com, we'll be learning more about the sequel as the year continues on. Will it feature our good cop, bad cop Wei Shen? Only time will tell, so keep your eyes and ears open!

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition comes forth on October 14.
