Pokemon: Symphonic Evolutions Concert Debuts in August

Spend a night out with your crew to the musical stylings of Pokémon, starting in Washington, DC.

Spend a night being delighted by the sounds from Pokémon with the Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions live orchestral concert. The tour kicks off August 15th in Washington, DC, right in time for the Pokémon World Championships. The concert tour will continue in Philadelphia and other cities not yet released. The première of Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions will be held at Warner Theater in DC.

Bring the kids as this concert is sure to delight Pokémon fans of every shape and size. Concert-goers will be treated with various tunes from the video game’s history. Creative producers from The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses are part of the action.

The Pokémon series have delighted fans for over a 17 years since its original release in Japan in 1996. The franchise has sold more than 260 million games in its lifetime. Fans will find arrangements timed to amazing visuals from various Pokémon video games, such as:

  • Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, Pokémon Yellow
  • Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver, Pokémon Crystal
  • Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, Pokémon Emerald
  • Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, Pokémon Platinum
  • Pokémon Black and Pokémon White
  • Pokémon X and Pokémon Y

Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions is going to be a spectacular showcase of the memorable music that has been a hallmark of the Pokémon franchise for nearly 20 years. The concert series serves as a thank-you to fans and an invitation to share our passion for Pokémon by reliving some of our fondest memories. The Pokémon World Championships is held in DC as well on two days after the performance, August 16th and 17th, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

Following the début in DC, the next performance will be held at Philadelphia’s Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on September 19th.
