GOG's Big DRM-Free Fall Sale: Up to 90% Discounts, Mount & Blade Free

GOG.com has over 700 games discounted up to 90% off for their Big Fall Sale. They also are offering Flash Deals and free gifts!

GOG.com is having its Big Fall Sale until November 25, including discounts on over 700 games. Additionally, they are offering free copies of the game Mount & Blade for the next 20 hours (as of the original posting time of this article).

Discounts go up to 90% off and include bundles. For instance, The Action Platformers Selection includes Dust: An Elysian TaleValdis Story: Abyssal CityUnepic, and Megabyte Punch and only costs $8.21 instead of its original $54.96 pricetag. 85% off four games is not a bad deal.

GOG.com also offers "Flash Deals" which occur every 40 minutes. Some of the current deals are The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena for $2.99, Cannon Fodder 2 for $1.49, and Inquistor for $2.29. All of these deals are time-sensitive, expiring in less than 5 hours. Check them out ASAP.

Mount & Blade is currently free on GOG.com, and the sequels and expansions are up to 75% off as well. Mount & Blade is a medieval single-player RPG. You can join one of five battling factions, become an outlaw or mecenary, or remain neutral as you play. There is no over-arching plotline, so you're free to act as you please to develop your character and fiefdom. Since it's free, you might as well try it out. Just sign in or sign up with GOG.com and enjoy the giveaway!

GOG.com's discounted games seem to cover every genre and style, from role-playing to indie to racing to adventure. When I first opened the Discounted Games page, I was greeted with Baldur's Gate 2 Complete for 50% off, followed by Earthworm Jim 3D for only $2.99. I count that as a fairly diverse selection right off the bat.

As previously mentioned, GOG's Big Fall Sale may continue until November 25, but new deals and discounts appear almost every half-hour. Head over to their site to check out the selection, and to also snag a copy of Mount & Blade for free! Once you look at the selection, let us know: What is your favorite deal and what did you buy?
