Ed Boon is a bit of a troll. As anyone who has watched his twitter account can attest, he absolutely loves teasing and giving little hints here and there of things he thinks people will get excited about. More often than not, he’s right. Us gamers can be a pretty excitable lot. Now, however, he is not revealing a character, he is asking us about one.
He has started a poll asking people to pick one of several DC comics characters to reveal which of the listed characters they would want to see as eventual DLC for Injustice: Gods Among Us. The characters in the poll include Swamp Thing, Power Girl, Zatanna, Doctor Fate, Blue Beetle, Red Hood, and Static Shock.
The poll is unofficial, meaning fans are not guaranteed their character of choice will become DLC for winning this poll. The notable exclusion of Martian Manhunter from this poll also got someone’s attention, the poll being replied to with a comment about how he would win by a landslide if he were included.
Boon’s response? “Yes, I understand he would be #1. Was more curious about remaining characters.”
Now I’m just waiting for the announcement of season 2 DLC passes.
