343 Industries Answers Questions About Halo: The Master Chief Collection

The remastered versions of Halo: Combat Evolved will include maps and weapon options originally exclusive to PC version

With Halo: The Master Chief Collection releasing in less than a month for Xbox One, 343 Industries has used their weekly Halo Bulletin to answer some fan questions about the collection of remastered Halo games.

This week the focus was on the remastered version of Halo: Combat Evolved. According to the Halo Bulletin, Combat Evolved will have all of the game type options that were available for the older version of the game, including custom game types. There will also be options for games with radar enabled or disabled.

Additionally, the remastered edition will include maps for Combat Evolved and Halo 2, which were originally only available for the PC versions of the games. Also, there will be new weapon options for players, including some "classic" weapon options that were originally only for the PC, as well.

Halo: Combat Evolved will release  for Xbox One along with the rest of the Master Chief Collection on November 11th.

I love writing, videogames, books, and movies. I love stories, in any form.

the title of this is wrong. 343 studios is not a part of Bungie. It's a Microsoft owned development team. Bungie gave Microsoft the rights to Halo after either 2 or 3 released and went silent in the video game world to start the Destiny project.

Thanks for spotting that! I made the correction. I knew about 343 Industries taking over and mentioned them in the article, but messed up on the title.
