Palworld Pits Players Against Each Other in Pal Arena

Go head to head in an epic battle against other players!

We’ve had plenty of epic boss fights in Palworld, but if you’re looking for a real challenge, the Pal Arena may be just the thrill. This new upcoming feature will allow players to go head-to-head. Here are all the details we know so far.

The Pal Arena will not only give us a whole new way to play with other players but also give us more incentive to level up our pals. We don’t have much detail on how this Pal Arena will work, but from the teaser trailer, it appears that two players will compete in a 1v1 battle. They will use their pals and their own weapons.

Unlike usual battles, the trailer reveals multiple pals summoned and fighting simultaneously. With that idea in mind, you’ll need plenty of room to whip out some of your best pals. Thankfully, this arena caters perfectly to all types of pals in a new colosseum-esque setting. You’ll most likely enter this arena via a different mode on the main menu. Possible matchmaking preferences are set to find the best possible match for you.

To keep things fair, the arena will likely have a matchmaking search that only pits players of similar levels together. You’ll bring in your items and pals that you find in survival mode, but the battle’s outcome won’t carry over. For example, if your pals happen to die in the arena, this won’t permanently affect survival mode. There is no indication of any benefit or reward for completing arena battles yet. But, it would be a fun way to earn items.

We will hear more news about this exciting new mode as the release window comes closer, including the exact release day. We’ll only have to wait a few more months. The team announced it would be coming in the summer of 2024!
