New Dragon Age Inquistion DLC coming soon

Bioware has released a trailer for the newest DLC for Dragon Age Inquistion, which has been hinted at for the past few months.

It seems BioWare has finally finished work on the mysterious story DLC for Dragon Age Inquisition.

They recently released a new trailer showing off “The Descent.”

It looks like the Inquisitor will be heading down into the Deep Roads to fight off Darkspawn. This emphasis on the Deep Roads and the Darkspawn may reference the Hero of Fereldan’s quest in Dragon Age Origins. Hopefully, there will be some references to the original Dragon Age, as BioWare has confirmed that it would be nigh impossible to have the Hero of Fereldan to be a character like Hawke from Dragon Age 2.

The trailer shows off that there are hordes of evil Darkspawn to fight and some sort of secret that will “shake the world to its core.” Previous DLC for Dragon Age Inquisition, like “Jaws of Hakkon,” have been rather sparse on story and merely added new areas to explore. This DLC does look promising and seems to have a release date for next week. So at least we won’t be kept waiting long for this next DLC.

Any gut feelings about this trailer and The Descent? The setting gives me a possible horror movie vibe. Leave a comment and let us know what you think.

The first game I can remember playing was either Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64 or the first Harry Potter computer game. The first console/gaming device I can remember owning was a Gameboy Advance and I loved my Pokemon Silver game to death.
