30 years of Tetris? That’s right, the popular puzzle game celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, and Ubisoft is making the most of it. Tetris Ulitimate is a new version of Tetris, that gives gamers a lot of new challenges and options. The different updated features that you get will depend on what system you’ll download Tetris Ultimate on.
The game was already announced for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Vita, earlier this year. Most of the new features for these systems have to do with “the Battle Ultimate mode,” where gamers can play against each other. Additionally, the game will allow players to “tweak the game to their liking” and essentially give them the ability “to recreate their favorite Tetris versions from over the years.” Players can download the game on these systems later this summer.
Ubisoft revealed the new options for 3DS, which releases in the fall, earlier today. These options include “challenge modes: Master, Rotation Lock, Escalation, and Invisible,” and “classic game modes,” and “two online battle modes.”
Regardless of what system you prefer, you’ll definitely get a lot of exciting new abilities to amplify the traditional game with Tetris Ultimate.
