Dead Space Remake: System Requirements for PC

Want to play the Dead Space Remake, but not sure if your PC can run it? This guide details the hardware you'll need.

EA Motive's Dead Space Remake is out on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. If you're looking to play the latest take on Visceral Games' classic on console, it's as easy as popping the disc into your machine or downloading it from your store of choice. But if you're on PC, you'll have to check if you can run it first. Luckily, we've got the system requirements (courtesy of the game's Steam page) to help you out.

Minimum and Recommended PC Requirements for Dead Space Remake

Dead Space Remake Minimum PC Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 2600x / Intel Core i5 8600
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • GPU: AMD RX 5700 / Nvidia GTX 1070
  • Storage: 50GB SATA SSD
  • DirectX Version 12

Dead Space Remake Recommended PC Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x / Intel Core i5 11600K
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • GPU: Radeon RX 6700 XT / Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070
  • Storage: 50GB SSD, PCIe compatible
  • DirectX Version 12

While Dead Space Remake is a looker, you won't need a top-of-the-line rig to run it on minimum settings. Obviously, you'll be able to push the game's technical prowess with better hardware if you're looking to run it on the recommended requirements, but as long as you're getting a steady frame rate, you should be okay. Enjoy revisiting the USG Ishimura, and try not to die too much.
