10 Actors Who Should Play Panam in the Live-Action Cyberpunk 2077 Adaptation

Cyberpunk 2077 is a live-action adaptation, so who's going to play one of the best characters in the game, Panam Palmer, should she appear?

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most cinematic games of all time, so it’s no surprise that CD Projekt Red is keen on developing a live-action adaptation. Considering the game’s incredible popularity, fans immediately want to know who might play their favorite characters. Mind, we don’t know if any of the game’s characters will appear in the film or television show (whichever it ends up being). But here are 10 actors who should play Panam in the live-action Cyberpunk 2077 adaptation.

While not the most known of names, Tristin Mays bears a striking resemblance to Panam Palmer. She’s even acknowledged it herself, and some fans have pointed out the resemblance. We’ve seen video game adaptations use relatively unknown actors in successful adaptations before, such as The Last of Us just in 2023, so Mays could absolutely nail this part if given a chance.

Zendaya

Now one of the biggest names in Hollywood, it’s possible that Cyberpunk 2077 goes for some serious star power for Panam. Zendaya has all the fire and sarcasm of the character and resembles her quite a bit, as well. She’s also no stranger to action roles, appearing in Dune and the Jon Watts directed Spider-Man films. On top of that, she’s a noted gamer. It would be a surprise, but she would be an excellent fit.

Hailey Steinfeld

With her recent role as Kate Bishop in Hawkeye, Hailey Steinfeld has all the badass moxie needed to pull off Panam Palmer. She’s sarcastic and charismatic and has plenty of experience in high-octane action roles. She’s also funny, making many of Panam’s funnier moments a cinch for Steinfeld to pull off if she gets the call.

Olivia Wilde

While she’s transitioned to more of a directing role, Olivia Wilde has always had a dangerous, sarcastic energy to her in every role she’s done. Her voice and vibe are perfect matches for Panam. She’s got a lot of experience as an actor and has played many different action-based roles, such as A Vigilante, so she would be an easy choice.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead

For anyone who’s ever seen Scott Pilgrim, you would know that Mary Elizabeth Winstead is an amazing choice for Panam. Her deadpan humor and ability to get gritty with action scenes throughout her career would fit right in with what fans are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect representation of the character. She’s also familiar with action roles in films like Kate and Birds of Prey.

Vanessa Hudgens

Vanessa Hudgens is an out-there choice for Panam Palmer. She has experience in action roles, though, with the most prominent being Spring Breakers. Most importantly, she has the perfect look for Panam. She will likely be up there for consideration if Panam is included in the Cyberpunk 2077 live-action adaptation.

Zazie Beetz

Zazie Beetz has had some great roles in the past few years, and all of them have a fierce edge to them. Whether it’s her role in Joker or Domino in Deadpool 2, she’s the perfect mix of serious and wry to pull off a rather difficult role.

Emma Stone

It might not be her thing these days, but Emma Stone once played a complete badass zombie killer in Zombieland, and she was hilarious in the role as well. She can pull off the deadpan, quiet rage with the best of them. As one of the biggest names in Hollywood, it would be quite a get for her to play Panam Palmer.

Morena Baccarin

Morena Baccarin has been nerd culture’s dream girl for over two decades. Starting with her iconic role on Firefly and then moving to the big screen to star as Vanessa in Deadpool, she has all the experience in roles in the genre to make Panam Palmer her own. She’s got great comedic timing and holds her own.

Olivia Munn

This is just a no-brainer. Anyone who knows who Olivia Munn is and has played Cyberpunk 2077 has definitely done a double take when they first encountered Panam. I know I did. And then her personality comes out: it’s hard not to wonder if she was the inspiration for not only the look of the character but her personality, too. She’s as much of a match of a character as there is, so if Panam is in the Cyberpunk 2077 live-action adaptation, it would be a crime to not cast her in the role.

Those are our choices for the 10 actors who should play Panam in the Cyberpunk 2077 live-action adaptation. Casting a role as iconic as Panam is tough, but I think this is a solid group to choose from.
