The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was first announced to eager fans in 2013. Looking to have more of an open world feel, the title took 4 years to perfect.
Finally released on March 3, 2017 as a Nintendo Switch launch title and for the Wii U, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was met with critical acclaim. And as a franchise with millions of fans worldwide, it's no surprise that cosplayers have already donned the costumes of their favorite characters from the most recent title.
Link and Epona

Zelda's new attire in Breathe of the Wild is out of a dream. Not only is her normal game play outfit stunning, but so is this dress. Wanting to do something different than other Zelda cosplayers, Termina Cosplay got to work combining multiple patterns to achieve the right look. Gold accessories and a fashionable belt complete the ethereal look.

Another Link cosplay, this time showing off his awesome bow and arrow. Such detail went into putting this cosplay together. From the details on the tunic to the leather work to the even the setting for the photos, AceHylian Cosplay and Cororeccho really created an astounding Link.
Zelda

Holly Wolf captures the spirit of Zelda in the wild with her cosplay. The detailed tunic, hair, ears, gloves, and leather pouch are all on point. The addition of the Sheikah slate brings more of the game to life. The setting is gorgeous, helping to sell the world of The Legend of Zelda.

We finally have a cosplay of Link and Zelda together. Hanging out, these lovebirds are all smiles. From their matching colored tunics down to their boots, they have recreated these characters perfectly. So fun to see the characters interact too!

Link being stealthy is the next to join our cosplay list. This Link has seen some action, their face fatigued and dirty. Waiting for a moment to strike, Link is ready to pull an arrow from the quiver. This is a great crossplay as you can barely tell JenJackowski is a girl.

Lastly, another Link. This one by Echolox is relaxing, enjoying the day by the water. The crisp lines on the tunic as well as the matching leather work, pouches, and boots show the time he put into his cosplay.
