These Dragon's Dogma 2 creations look exactly like iconic characters from other franchises!

The best part of almost every RPG game is character creation, and Dragon’s Dogma 2 may have the best selections I’ve ever seen. Fans have been recreating iconic characters from other franchises. Here are some of the very best.

Best Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Sliders

Thanks to Dragon’s Dogma 2‘s many customization options, Reddit is filled with unique creations for others to copy or simply appreciate, pulling from fan-favorite titles like God of War to old classics like Zelda.

Atreus

Atreus from God of War is a particularly impressive creation since he’s meant to be a young boy. Reddit user bootspurs does a great job of capturing his youthfulness without making him look too different. From the perfectly placed scars to his recognizable hairstyle, it’s pretty spot on to this young legend.

Shadowheart

Shadowheart from Baldur's Gate 3, black hair with bangs braided behind her, dark eyes with heavy black eye makeup

All the characters from Baldur’s Gate 3 are popular creations, but one of the best I saw was this recreation of Shadowheart. Shadowheart is an instantly recognizable character, whether you’ve played the game or just saw the cover art, and Wakiratoshi did an amazing job mirroring every part of her, from her long braided hair to her shadowy dark eyes. You can even try these sliders out for yourself.

Zelda & Link

Realistic versions of Zelda and Link. Zelda on the left and Link on the right. Zelda has braided dirty blonde hair with one strand falling in front of her face. Large, dreamy green eyes. Link has dirty blonde hair that falls toward his face and extends behind him over his pointed ears, and more squinted blue eyes

Technically, this is a two-in-one, but how could you separate an iconic duo like Link and Zelda? Stacycmc on Reddit reimagined this classic pair into more realistic-style characters but still managed to make them perfectly recognizable, with their hairstyles, pointed ears, and even their eyes. Now, if only Link could play his flute for us.

Terminator T-800

Character that resembles the actor Arnold Schwarz that plays terminator. Extremely buff, short, styled hair and one eye that has silver, metalic patch and a dark red cyborg looking eye
Image via Spider1132 on Reddit

The Terminator T-800 is one of the most bizarre characters you can see in an RPG game like this, but that only makes it even more impressive of a creation from Spider1132. This character screams Arnold Schwarzenegger, from the face to the extremely buff figure. They even managed to give him his iconic red cyborg eye. He looks like a warrior I’d want on my side.

Gandalf

Close up of a character that looks like Gandalf from Lord of the Rings. Longer white hair that falls on either side of his face, mature looking face with blue eyes, large nose, and a white beard to match his hair
Image via Flavory_Viking on Reddit

If you’re going to have a wizard back you up, you might as well have one of the greatest ever to exist—Gandalf. Flavory_Viking made one of the best resemblances of Gandalf the White out there, showing off his big nose and wise, old eyes. Even if his hair isn’t spot on, it’s the closest you can get. Check out the comments to recreate this yourself as well!

Drax the Destroyer

Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy, bald head, greyish brown skin and reddish tattoos that cover his face and body.

His name is Drax the Destroyer for a reason: He can destroy any enemy with a fiery vengeance. I loved this character creation by OntayUp because it perfectly encompasses Drax in all his glory, specifically his red tattoos and unique eyes. Despite being a different race from outer space, he actually looks like he could fit in a fantasy setting.

Geralt of Rivia

Geralt from Witcher. White hair and beard, hair pulled back, yellow intense eyes, and a scar that cover his left eye
Image via EriadorsDoorstep on Reddit

Throw a coin to your Witcher and EriadorsDoorstep for recreating him in Dragon’s Dogma 2. They stated they were going for Witcher 3 style Geralt, and despite a few small differences, like the braided hair and chunky nose, I’d say they accomplished their goal. This is hands down one of the best Geralts out there.

Daenerys Targaryen

Three different views of a character resembling Daenerys from Game of Thrones, white blonde hair braided back, doe-like blue eyes

The game is called Dragon’s Dogma, so why not have the Mother of Dragons on your side? This [deleted] user on Reddit did an amazing job recreating the iconic bright-haired character from the Game of Thrones series. Her eyes, particularly, really resemble Emilia Clarke, the actress who played her.

Thor

Image via BeckonGames on Reddit

The list wouldn’t be complete without at least one other MCU hero alongside Drax, and this Thor made by BeckonGames is one of the very best. Even if I didn’t know the character Thor, I could see the likeness to actor Chris Hemsworth immediately. The creator even gave us a look at different iconic Thor hairstyles as they change throughout the various movies. I would have loved to see one with an eyepatch!

Legolas

Legolas has always been one of my all-time favorite fantasy characters, with his subtle rizz in combat and personality, so I was immediately sold when I saw this recreation by Peach-PearLaCroix. It looks about as close as you can get to Orlando Bloom in the films, with his long blonde hair and stunning blue eyes, but the cheekbones take the cake for me.

These are just a few of the best character creations that stood out to us, but there are so many more great ones coming in every day. You can recreate any of the iconic looks above for yourself, or get creative and make your own favorite characters.
