Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is releasing new DLC on February 3, titled The Road to Boruto. The update will include new features, move-sets, characters, and a new storyline centering around the 7th Hokage’s son Boruto.
The necessity of Naruto fans to take their own ninja path, continues with this DLC by granting pivotal chapters in the saga to players. The addition of The Road to Boruto is the direct result of the events during the Shinobi War, as well as in our beloved characters lives; following both tragic events and utterly satisfying moments in their lives, while also concluding the original saga. The Road to Boruto features a fresh adventure following Boruto along with his comrades, and is adapted off of Boruto’s film adaption.
New Storyline and Adventure mode:
Based off Boruto: Naruto the Movie, the events of the story take place years into the future where Boruto is attempting to pass his chunin exams, as Naruto continues to be absent in his life being the new seventh Hokage n all (dreams do come true). Following Boruto on his journey will see the return of familiar faces, in addition to several new characters; such as Sasuke and Sakura’s daughter, Sarada.
A new threat arises requiring the strength of the village, which will ultimately test Baruto’s strength. Adventure mode finds the original cast exploring the world of Naruto after the triumph of the 4th Great Ninja War.
Characters and Move-sets:
The Road to Boruto is set in a new era of chunin and jonin. Several youthful characters will feature in the DLC, including the children of popular characters and antagonists within the storyline. Move-sets will also be altered to fit the styles of new and familiar characters who have now grown to establish their new found skills, for example Naruto as the 7th Hokage will not have his original move-set, but will have a new combos and animations to fight with; including new Ultimate Jutsu and Ultimate Team Jutsu.
The release of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto itself will contain all previous DLC and the previous pre-order exclusive as well. This is a must-buy for the complete experience of immersing yourself into your favorite ninja, while taking part in battles which span across generations from the first chapter of the Naruto series to its finale in Boruto’s generation.
