Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave Location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave is near the southeastern edge of the map. Specifically, it’s in the Necluda region near the dagger-shaped cove. In fact, it forms the northern portion of that cove. The coordinates are: 3680, -3213, 0000.

There are two ways to reach this location. If you go by the overland route, you’ll have to traverse hills and plateaus as you make your way to the coast. If you go by sea, try to find a shoreline without a lot of enemies before building your makeshift boat. The latter option is actually more viable, as you’ll need to solve a riddle.

The location itself can only be opened if you know the solution to a riddle. It talks of the “shrill song of wind through lips.” I wondered about this one initially, then I realized that it can only mean a “whistle.”

You do need to sail on a boat so Link has a flat surface to stand on. You can then whistle by pressing down on the D-pad. Doing so will reveal the cave’s entrance. Inside, you’ll find a unique piece of clothing called Tingle’s Tights. Moreover, this will complete the Misko’s Treasure: Pirate Manuscript side quest.

And there you go, you’ve gained access to the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave. Now that you have the treasure, you might as well obtain the full Tingle Set. For other tips, strategies, and walkthroughs, visit our Zelda: TotK guides hub.
