Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Open Beta Delayed
Unfortunate news, Tom Clancy fans: Rainbow Six Siege's open beta has been sadly postponed!
Ubisoft decided to keep the game under closed beta status for the time being. They have noticed a few problems across all platforms. They have been facing matchmaking time errors as well as disconnection issues.
Ubisoft stated, "We apologize for the delay and can assure you this is our top priority. We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements."
The game was meant to start its open beta across Xbox One and PlayStation 4 yesterday. Yet Ubisoft has declared that an open beta version will be in the future.
Ubisoft also made it clear that despite the delay in releasing an open beta, this will not effect the release for the final game.
Ubisoft wrote, "We are confident the game will work as intended since the known issue will be fixed soon. Therefore the launch will not be impacted by this issue."
So, we can only wait for the open beta to be released sometime soon and look forward to the ultimate release of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.

Boy that delay wasn't long lol.

No, and I'm happy that I get to try the game for the whole weekend before making a decision.
Though now, just a couple of hours in we are experiencing a range of issues.
Some of the friends I'm playing uses AMD cards, and says it's barely playable.
The searching time for games takes for ever.
There is some minor bugs with voice chat where as it can't be properly disabled, and push-to-talk activates random.
Sometimes when choosing loadout and operators, you don't get what you choose in the actual match.
Also some of us is getting an error message occasionally when searching for matches, and gets thrown out of the party.
Mostly just annoying small stuff, and hopefully issues limited to the beta.
