Following the compilation remake of the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time offers a brand new adventure for Crash and his sister Coco as they attempt to keep the past intact and safe from N. Trophy and Cortex's nefarious scheme.
Most akin to Crash Bandicoot: Warped, It's About Time has alternate timelines of certain stages with different playstyles from the Bandicoot siblings. Tawna, Dingodile, and Neo Cortex offer different gameplay from Crash and Coco, not totally unlike the shift between the two's stages in Warped.
Signature to the series, Crash Bandicoot: It's About Time challenges players to find all of the gems spread across its stages for unlocks and many of them are as elusive as ever. It also features an "N. Verted" mode, featuring dramatic changes to stages for players to complete.
