CD PROJEKT RED, the folks behind the Witcher 3 have decided to show off their opening cinematic, a 3 minute introduction to the story and action fans will hopefully see when the game releases early next year.
About the cinematic, CD PROJEKT RED says:
Foreshadowing the story of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, The Trail Opening Cinematic is an epic sneak peek into the adventure that awaits gamers in Wild Hunt. See witchers Geralt of Rivia and his mentor Vesemir pursue Geralt’s long lost love, the immensely powerful, raven-black-haired sorceress — Yennefer of Vengerberg.
The Witcher: Wild Hunt is the third in a series of Witcher games that follow Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter. The games are heavy on narrative, magical role-playing games and The Wild Hunt is supposed to be an open world game.
The game is set for release on February 24, 2015. It is expected to release on Xbox One, PC & PS4 at that time.
