Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Amazon preorder bonuses revealed

Get free content that will change your appearance for the game's unique multiplayer experience.

A recent Amazon listing for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has revealed special bonuses if you run to preorder the game ahead of its release.

By preordering, you can obtain the “Combat Runner Kit” and the “Speed Runner Kit” on day one. The “Combat Runner Kit” allows you to “show off your perfect technique and power,” whereas the the “Speed Runner Kit” will allow you to “Run free, run fast and show the world how you master the city.” 

The two kits will allow you to obtain specific unique items that are “speed-themed” and “combat-themed.” The most notable of these being the “Projection Shader,” an object that will change how you appear in the worlds of other players.

Also included in the preorder bonuses are the “Runner Tag,” which will allow you to stand out in the leaderboards, and a special background that will be used for customizable “Screen Hacks.”

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is set to be released on May 24th, 2016, in North American and European regions, after having been delayed. The game will serve as a reboot and explore the origins of the character Faith Connor.
