Today, Ubisoft gave us a glimpse of their E3 demo with a walkthrough from Splinter Cell: Blacklist. The walkthrough details the highlights of the Louisiana Liquid Natural Gas plant mission and intercuts cutscenes with gameplay, with occasional voice overs provided by Ubisoft detailing the story and specifics of the mission.
The video doesn’t show the entirety of the mission, instead preferring to fast forward through gameplay to key points throughout the mission. Some of the enemies are detailed through the voice over, offering a few tips on how to handle them. In addition to the enemies, Ubisoft provides a description of some of the new gear available to Sam.
While it’s a bit odd not to have Michael Ironside voicing Sam this time around, if this demo is any indication as to how Blacklist is as a game, it looks like a great addition to the Splinter Cell franchise. The gameplay looks great, and Ubisoft seems to have blended the action with classic Splinter Cell stealth options nicely.
