Revisit Shi No Mura With Call of Duty Mobile Zombies

Zombies finally invade Call of Duty Mobile. Here's what you need to know about the event — it won't last forever.

If you wanted Call of Duty: Mobile zombies, Activision has heard your cries. The Zombie Experience in CoD Mobile starts today. But just like the gnarliest of decomposed undead corpses, the mode won’t last forever. Activision has confirmed that this is a limited-time event.

How to Start Call of Duty Mobile Zombies

You automatically unlock The Zombie Experience (CoD Zombies) once you reach Level 5 in CoD: Mobile. From there, it’s everything you remember from every zombie experience from Call of Duty: World at War to Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare.

The Zombie Experience takes place across the classic Shi No Numa map, where the Rising Sun Facility is hiding a dark (and cannibalistic) secret: zombies. Lots of ’em.

The regular mode is classic CoD zombies, letting you take on the undead hordes with up to four other people or entirely alone. You’ll start with a knife and pistol, but you acquire other weapons and zombie-flaying obstacles through the Mystery Box as you fight for your life.

The Zombie Experience also includes the Easter Egg puzzle in Hardcore Mode, and there’s a brand-new experience as well: Raid Mode.

This new mode has you face off against waves of zombies across two difficulty settings to see if you can make it to the final boss: The Abomination. It might not be George Romero or even Brutus, but it’s a boss that poses its own challenges.

Sure it’s kind of just Resident Evil: CoD Edition, but you won’t see us complaining about more zombies.

Activision has more details on its blog, though the developer hasn’t actually announced an end date for this limited-time event yet.
