It's not an attempt to make a brand new Doom experience with the flashy tech. After all, the new Doom pretty much is the evolution of Doom gameplay into 2016.
I had never played a Doom game until the newest entry in the franchise was released. Now I want more shooters to take note from what what makes the new Doom so fun.
An acute storyline followed by a campaign that overstayed it’s welcome, exhaustingly intense and redundant gameplay, and dry environments, may have actually scuffed the luster on the franchise.
Doom looks to bring back that ultra fast paced combat that demands improvisation and fast reflexes rather than waiting behind cover for health to regenerate.
