How to Find the Warden’s Key in the Mushroom River Cave in The Planet Crafter

To find the Warden’s Key in the Mushroom River Cave, you first need to find the Mushroom River (for which you’ll also get an achievement!) and believe it or not, it’s in just south of the starting zone.

IMPORTANT:

Bring a lot of Oxygen and some Water and Food for every key run!

  • The main entrance is at -227,49,52, from that cool black-and-white zone where you’re getting Osmium and Zeolite.
  • The back entrance, which leads to another zone, is at -213,52,759. If you feel like exploring, you might use this as an exit.

The key (Warden’s Altar) is located at -216,-45,491 within the cave. It’s right next to a big tree.

On this Altar, you have a key to pick up that looks like that annoying alarm clock toy that runs on wheels when it’s set off, just to force you to get up. And what’s that? Some coordinates under the key?

-464,-40,97 is what’s written, so let’s go there next.

Interact with this Altar, place the key on it, and get through the cave door that will open (marked on the image). Inside, there are tunnels and some lore to read if you’re interested, but we’re going left. In there, another Altar exists with another key!

On this Altar, 964,68,1744 is written.

The next stage leads us to a desert.

How to Find Warden’s Keys in the Desert Cave

I entered the next cave from 1094,63,1692, which is relatively easy to reach from the spawning area. Just head out north and then turn west. As soon as you enter this Desert cave, you’ll get the “A Door?” achievement.

There, you will find the place to put the key on (955,66,1757). When you do that, a door will open.

Get in, and at the junction, turn left for the first key (750,5,1864), and then go back to the junction and turn right.

You will find the second key at 690,4,2120.

In the building to your left, there’s some lore and a golden chest, but ultimately, you’ll need to climb on top of that building by actually climbing on the right building. Follow the path up, and you will see an ancient-looking structure with a lore piece on it and a tunnel to your right. In the tunnel, you can see a glowing yellow ball that has no purpose. You can go behind the lore piece and keep jumping until you get on the roof of the left building. On the edge of the roof, you’ll find the third key at 662,28,2104.

Pick it up, jump down as safely as you can, and go back home to refill Oxygen and Water if needed.

The final stage leads us to 1565,109,2500.

How to Find Warden’s Keys in Ancient Heaven

Note: If you want to find the Ancient Paradise and finish this “questline” through regular means, your Terraformation index must be at least 2 GTi.

Once you reach the 1565,109,2500 coordinates, you will be able to place the three keys you have.

You start feeling the earthquake shortly, which will last until the doors are open. Once they’re open, you’re good to go. Stroll down the path until you reach an enclosure. Be mindful that your jetpack won’t work once you’re in, and you won’t be able to build anything. There are five keys that you must find in Ancient Paradise.

The first key is at 1329,98,2941. You’ll find it in the garden, on the right side as you walk in.

The second key is at 1230,98,2898. This one is hiding on the left side, left of the stairs that lead up the temple.

The third key is at 1191, 169, 2915. It is high up. You need to take the scaffold starting on the left side of the temple’s ground level.

The fourth key is at 1200,114,2987. This one is on the right side of the stairs, up the small scaffold.

The fifth key is at 1177,185,2980. This one is the trickiest, and chances are you are reading this guide because of this key only. From the location of the fourth key, keep following the scaffold.

Eventually, you’ll find a big plant that you can click on to climb up.

Now, after you pick up the last key, all you have to do is go down to the ground level safely.

At 1197,123,2932, you will deposit all five keys and make your entry. Important items in the Golden Container that I’ve got were:

  • 2x Golden Butterfly Larva – It gives a 1500% Insect Multiplier
  • 1x Super Alloy Rod

Wasn’t this quest lovely? I’m glad if it was of help to you, and I invite you to check out our Planet Crafter game hub, where you’ll find info on secret bunkers and how to get Zeolite and Osmium.
