Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Complete Find the Githyanki Crèche

The Githyanki Crèche is presented as an option for dealing with your Mindflayer Tadpole early in the game, right after you recruit Lae’zel, to be exact. You can even grab the Blood of Lathander legendary mace while you’re there. However, it’s a quest you’ll want to put on the side until later in Act 1, then you’ll be ready to learn how to complete “Find the Githyanki Crèche” in Baldur’s Gate 3.

How to Complete Find the Githyanki Crèche in BG3

You get “Find the Githyanki Crèche” shortly after the Nautiloid crash, but the difficult enemies you’ll face given its location in the Mountain Pass, it’s best to wait until right before moving onto Act 2 to tackle this quest.

After you enter the Mountain Pass, you’ll come across a Cable Car Wheel at roughly (X:-45, Y:-45). If you pass a Strength check, you can use the gondola to cross to the monastery. I was unable to pass the check, so I had to go the long way and make use of Jump to get to Rosymorn Monastery (X:17, Y:22). There are also traps along the path, so have a character with high Perception go through first to scout.

The actual entrance to Creche Y’llek is roughly (X:74, Y:86) through the door that says Monastery Basement. However, the quest “Find the Githyanki Crèche” completes when you interact with the Holy Blood of Lathander at (X:76, Y:66), which is at the top of the stairs that lead to the basement door.

The best way to get to the Holy Blood of Lathander is to climb the roots to the left of the Rosymorn Monastery Waypoint, then use Jump to enter the monastery from the west side where there’s a broken window. Then you continue to use Jump to navigate to the circled area in the northeast, which is the location of the statue you need. Once you click the plaque, your quest will complete and move onto the next objective.
