Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Find Araj Oblodra

Where to find Araj Oblodra, the blood-trader of Baldur's Gate 3!

Moonrise Towers in Act 2 has a collection of NPCs, all following the will of the Absolute. One of them offers you unique potions in exchange for a drop of blood since she’s an alchemist focused on working with blood. Here’s how to find Araj Oblodra in Baldur’s Gate 3 to get your unique potion.

How to Find Araj Oblodra in Baldur’s Gate 3

You might rush through Moonrise Towers, but exploring the extra rooms leads to extra interactions and possibly items.

Who is Araj?

When you’re in Moonrise Towers, your main goal is usually to meet with or fight Ketheric Thorm, or to save the Tieflings who were captured. You might miss what’s located in all the extra rooms of the tower if you don’t spend time exploring. Additionally, Araj makes a potion from your blood as many times as you offer it to her. On my Elf, the potion provided buffs like improved Darkvision and extra Movement Speed. The potions are specific to your race and last until a Long Rest.

If you’re facing the throne in Moonrise Towers, Araj is in the room to the left. There isn’t much reason to enter this part if you aren’t specifically looking for her. That means she’s easy to miss if you don’t explore, and that means no special potions either. For the most content, bring Astarion with you to get a unique interaction with Arah that leads to extra scenes with Astarion based on your choices.

But that covers how to find Araj Oblodra in Baldur’s Gate 3 without spoiling her interaction with Astarion. Even if you just want a boost from racially specific potions, it’s worth stopping by her room before you head into Shadowfell.
