How to Install Mods for The Planet Crafter

When you find a mod you wish to download, it will usually direct you to install BepInEx, a tool required to mod most games nowadays. You will find it in the Description section on each mod’s page. After you install BepInEx, you should use the Manual Download option in the top-right section of the screen.

Once the download is complete, you should find your installation folder for The Planet Crafter. You can do this by right-clicking The Planet Crafter in your Steam Library and going to Manage, Browse Local Files.

You should extract the mod’s archive file into the game’s root folder. Now, let’s provide some quality-of-life mods to improve your gameplay, mainly the base management.

Five Must-Have Mods for The Planet Crafter

Before we continue, please know that some might perceive these mods as cheating because they alter the game’s originally intended mechanics.

Item Stacking – Have you had enough of filling your inventory with 15 of the same items without the opportunity to stack them so that they occupy one inventory space? Your nightmares are over with this mod.

Spawn Objects – Do you need a cheat engine of some sort to spawn stuff for you, because you just don’t want to go to your umpteenth resource farm run? Try this mod, then.

Craft From Inventory – Are you tired of preparing for a marathon by involuntarily running between your item stash and the crafting station? If so, try this mod.

Better Jetpack – This mod fixes the sudden drop of height as you are flying and allows you to configure speed. Yay, faster traversal.

Auto Consume Food, Water, Oxygen – When you put it in a certain way, your character feels like a Tamagotchi that you need to keep feeding. This mod does away with these pesky and tedious recurring actions you must take to prevent your character from passing out. You can even configure when the food/water/oxygen items will be consumed.
