The Diablo 4 Accelerating Aspect is something you might want to consider getting for your character. As a perk that can be used by any class, it’s a viable option when deciding on your build. Our guide tells you where you can get this perk, as well as its effects and if you should use it.

How to Get the Accelerating Aspect in Diablo 4

At the time of this writing, the Diablo 4 Accelerating Aspect only comes from legendary gear pieces. A lot of randomness/RNG applies since a legendary could end up with this particular roll.

To further narrow it down, it’s worth noting this is an Offensive-type perk, which means you could find it on one-handed weapons, two-handed weapons, gloves, amulets, and rings. Likewise, this means the aspect itself can only be imprinted on these kinds of items.

Accelerating Aspect Effects: Is It Worth Using?

The Diablo 4 Accelerating Aspect has this effect: “Critical strikes with Core Skills increase your attack speed by 15 to 25% (doubled for amulets) for five seconds.” As such, the next question is whether it’s worth using.

In my opinion, it really depends on your build. Although the perk can be used by any class, the build and stats that you’re going for must emphasize the following:

  • High crit chance with your Core Skills to proc the effect more often.
  • Abilities that are heavily used or “spammed” in a way benefit more from the boosted attack speed.
  • Your build must not rely on a mandatory aspect/unique item for any of these slots: 1H weapon, 2H weapon, gloves, amulet, or rings. That’s because these are the only item slots that allow for the imprinting of the Accelerating Aspect.

Moreover, certain builds may rely on this, such as Druids that opt to focus on their Werewolf transformation‘s rapid attacks. In my case, however, I didn’t opt for this as a Necromancer main. The abilities I’ve focused on via different builds consisted of either big-time nukes or damage-over-time effects (i.e., Bone Spear, Bone Spirit, and/or Blight).

And that’s it. That’s everything you need to know about the Accelerating Aspect in Diablo 4. For more tips, walkthroughs, and strategies, our Diablo 4 tips hub has you covered.
