Disney Dreamlight Valley has a new way for the community of Dreamers to connect, and that’s using DreamSnaps! The DreamSnaps is an exciting multiplayer feature that encourages your creativity. Here’s how to use DreamSnaps in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How To Use DreamSnaps in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To use DreamSnaps, you’ll first need to bring Vanellope Von Schweetz to your valley. You can view our complete guide on bringing the racer to your village here. Then, complete these steps.
- Open your menu.
- Head to the Event tab.
- Go to DreamSnaps on the left-hand side.
- Opt-in to DreamSnaps.
- View the DreamSnaps challenge requirements.
- Place the furniture items in your village.
- Equip your camera and take a photo with your placed furniture.
- Click the assigned button to View DreamSnaps shown in the lower left corner of the camera interface.
- Click the button shown in the top left corner to Submit your DreamSnap.
The first challenge is titled Dreamlight Ball, and requires 3 Elegant and 5 Wondrous items. I decorated an extra room in my house for this challenge, and had an easy time using the Thorny Furniture Set.
You can filter your furniture by genre by heading to Furniture > All > Filters. When you go to submit your DreamSnap photo, you’ll see if you fulfilled the requirement in the top-left corner.
If you’d like to resubmit your DreamSnap, you can easily do so by following the process once again. However, you’ll only have until the event deadline to do so. You have until July 25 to complete your final submissions for the first Dreamlight Ball event.
Once the event ends, community voting will commence! You’ll want to be sure to participate in voting, too, because you’ll receive Moonstones to spend in the Premium Shop for doing so. You’ll also be eligible for in-game rewards based on how your creation ranks in the community votes.
