Fae Farm: How to Get Violet Jelly Caps

The Fae Farm quests will have you seeking out some interesting plants like Violet Jelly Caps. You’ll need the whimsical plant for the Sour But Sweet quest, but where do you find the mysterious fae mushrooms? Here you’ll find our guide on how to get Violet Jelly Caps in Fae Farm.

How to Get Violet Jelly Caps in Fae Farm

Once you make it to the end of the Floating Ruins Dungeon, you’ll need to help Boletal by collecting 10 Violet Jellycaps. However, you won’t be told what these mushrooms look like, or where to find them. The Violet Jelly Caps are the tall purple mushrooms found throughout the Fae Realm. Simply interact with the plant to harvest the Caps.

Only x9 will spawn throughout the Fae Realm area at a time. So you’ll need to return a few days later to obtain all that you need for the Sour But Sweet quest. Thankfully, Violet Jelly Caps can be found all year round, so you don’t need to worry about lapsing into a new season. I highly recommend you unlock the Floating Ruins Amethyst Wayshrine Seal to more easily return and check on their spawning. Here’s the recipe for the Floating Ruins Seal:

• 5 Copper Ore
• 5 Iron Ore
• 15 Rough Amethyst

Your Fae homestead, Fae Acres, will have an abundance of Violet Jelly Caps. However, this area doesn’t unlock until after the Sour But Sweet quest. Additionally, unlocking the Fae Acres area will take some additional steps, detailed in this guide here. The Violet Jelly Caps can be prepared into Chopped Mushrooms at the Food Prep Table. Unfortunately, this means that despite being from the Fae realm, they have the same qualities as regular Mushrooms.
