How to Defeat Barber in Lethal Company

Who needs a haircut?

Barber is indeed quite a tricky monster to deal with in Lethal Company, but it’s not an impossible task. In this article, I’ll show you what you can do to beat the Barber, or the popularly named “Clay Surgeon” in Lethal Company.

Can You Kill Barber in Lethal Company?

Unfortunately, the Barber cannot be killed in the current version of the game. Do not waste your Nutcracker‘s Shotgun ammo, and especially do not try to hit it with a Shovel, Stop Sign, or Yield Sign. From that aspect, it works the same way Coil-head does. Are there any other ways to beat Barber in Lethal Company? Of course!

How to Beat Barber in Lethal Company

In order to beat and survive Barber in Lethal Company, you must first become acquainted with how the Barber works. The Barber is invisible to the players unless you come very close to it. As you approach it, the blue clay-like mass will start gradually appearing the more you get closer, and if you see it fully, it means you’re in the kill range or very dangerously close to it.

The problem behind this mechanic is that you can accidentally run right into Barber’s scissors and… get redecorated… and not in a fun way! The problem gets exponentially increased due to the fact that these Barbers often move in groups! They all follow the leader (master) Barber, who is the loudest of the bunch, and that’s the only way you’ll be able to differentiate them.

However, there is a sound mechanic behind Barber as well. If Barber is around, you will hear a mix of trumpets and drums with every Barber’s step, similar to a parade of some sort. So, you gotta run away from these by listening to their movement. You can hide behind closed doors because they can’t open doors.
