- Navigate to the Steam folder where you installed Black Myth: Wukong on your computer.
- The default install location for Black Myth: Wukong is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BlackMythWukong
- Right-click on the b1.exe file
- Select the Properties option.
- Go to the Compatibility tab.
- Under the Compatibility Mode section, check the box next to ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for:‘ and then choose Windows 8 from the drop-down list.
- Check the ‘Run this program as an administrator’ box in this same tab.
- Note: Using the default icon will still launch the modified b1.exe game file.
