How to Solve Error Code 267 in Roblox

Most players use Google Chrome to play Roblox, and if you encounter Error Code 267 in Roblox and are not using Chrome, try using it (even though you’ll use it just for Roblox if you don’t like the browser).

If you’re using a Wi-Fi connection, try switching to a cabled connection if possible. If it’s not, try to move closer to the Internet router for testing purposes to establish if a weak connection is the cause of this problem.

You may want to reset your browser settings completely (no matter which one you’re using) and try playing Roblox again. Resetting your browser clears most of the data related to it, so make sure that you’re aware that your saved passwords and logins might be in jeopardy. This is why, for example, having Chrome as a browser used only for Roblox is a brilliant idea. You won’t lose much of your data when you perform such resets, including deletion of your cache, cookies, browsing history, etc. You can reset Google Chrome settings by accessing the settings from the three dots menu.

If you are running any form of third-party security software, such as antiviruses, firewalls, VPNs, etc., you might want to consider whitelisting Roblox or temporarily disabling (turning off) the said software while you’re testing if the error will appear again when the software is not working. This is important to test because security software usually “tampers” with your Internet connection in a way that may be perceived as suspicious by many programs and video games.

What is Roblox Error Code 267 (& Why Does It Happen)?

Roblox Error Code 267 usually indicates that your Roblox account got temporarily banned because of an activity that deems you suspicious. In most cases, this means that you were trying to play unfairly (cheats, scripts, etc.), but it can also happen due to a problematic Internet connection. Admins of the server are the ones that program the script that issues these kicks (bans) and something that happened on your end is what set the script off to ban you.
