Where to Find the Anvil in Abiotic Factor

Large metal doors labeled Silo 3 on the left and a small door labeled Supply Room on the right.

Considering how important the Anvil is in this game, it’s surprising how far into the game it is hidden. The first two Anvils can be found in the supply room right next to the Silo 3 doors, which is quite hard to reach. You’ll need to hike all the way up the third floor and take a walk through what seems to be an alien planet to get your first anvil.

The anvil in Abiotic Factor is used for crafting the Repair & Salvage Station. This crafting station helps save resources by repairing broken tools much more efficiently than duct tape. It’s also very useful for reducing unnecessary items into essential crafting materials, like Plastic or Metal Parts.

Reaching the Silo 3 on Level 3

But how do you get to the supply room on the third floor? Let’s start by crafting an Energy Brick, which you will need to reach Level 3. Then, starting from the cafeteria, walk into the main hub area (on Level 1) and take the stairs to your right. Go straight ahead, following the signs for the Reception area on Level 2. The reception is easy to recognize, just look for a giant blue screen showing a world map.

Take a left as soon as you see the map. Turn left again and follow the signs for the Security Office. Keep following the corridor until you see the words Security written on the wall. Plug your Energy Brick when prompted to open the large metal gate that leads to the third floor.

You’ll find a lift to your right and a gate to your left. The gate is only here to make backtracking easier, while the elevator will take you all the way to the third floor. You’ll immediately see a purple orb flying in mid-air in the distance. Walk into it to teleport to a weird alien garden. Find the other teleport orb to reach the other side of Level 3.

You’ll spawn right on top of some metal tubes. Drop down safely by avoiding the electrified water, then look for the Silo 3. You can use either the signs or the map to find your way there. The supply room is right next to the silo doors and contains two anvils. The second anvil is hidden above some crates, and it’s easy to find once you know it’s there.
