Planting seeds and sprouts to grow a variety of plants, trees, and flowers is one of the key things you will be doing in Lightyear Frontier, but the method of switching between seeds and sprouts is slightly obfuscated. Here’s how to choose a specific seed or sprout in Lightyear Frontier.
How to Pick a Different Sprout or Seed in Lightyear Frontier
Once you pick up all of the tools and get some seeds and sprouts in your inventory, you’ll naturally want to plant them and start your own garden (and perhaps a forest as well). If you have multiple different seeds and sprouts in your inventory, you may have noticed that the game automatically picks the seed or sprout for you, and there’s no clearly visible method of changing it, other than spending or discarding all of the currently equipped seeds or sprouts. However, there is a way to select a different seed or sprout in Lightyear Frontier without too much hassle.
How to Choose a Different Seed or Sprout in Lightyear Frontier

And here’s what it looks like when you’re changing seeds for the Seed Shooter:
After you pick the desired seed or sprout, release Q. It will become equipped, and you will be able to plant it immediately with your left mouse button. Here’s more information about how to plant, water, and harvest plants and sprouts in Lightyear Frontier.
