Mighty DOOM: S-Tier Weapons

Super Shotgun

  • Type: Double-Barreled Shotgun

The legendary “SSG” from the very first DOOM game is back in the mobile version of the Mighty DOOM.

It is basically a combat shotgun with the same ammo but with double damage, which simply allows you to kill those pesky demons twice as quickly. Keep in mind it’s a close range weapon and it has quite a kickback.

Unmaker

  • Type: Energy Weapon

Unmaker, also known as Unmaykr, has been considered the most powerful weapon in the series, and it continues to do so.

It fires an array of lasers in rapid succession in three directions, which will intimidate any monsters or demons that are weak to Plasma damage. The weapon can be upgraded and used against the most powerful bosses throughout the levels.

Mighty DOOM: A-Tier Weapons

Heavy Cannon

  • Type: Machine Gun

This weapon is both precise and delivers high damage at both midrange and long range.

In addition to your typical automatic shooting in the fashion of an assault rifle, you can launch single missiles that add up to the damage. This weapon may not be the best choice for later on, but it will serve you well in the first half of the game.

BFG 9000

  • Type: Energy Weapon

The infamous BFG is back in Mighty DOOM!

This massive plasma cannon shoots giant green energy projectiles that occupy a third of your screen. These are great for demolishing groups of demons, but they are also quite slow. If you want to make a great use of this weapon, approach enemies as close as you can and blast them.

Plasma Rifle

  • Type: Energy Weapon

If you want something a bit more spohisticated than BFG 9000, then a simple Plasma Rifle will do the trick.

It rapidly fires a series of blue projectiles that are easy to recharge, and they are much faster than the BFG projectiles, although a lot smaller as well. Still it’s a solid weapon for those players who like to control every shot and every kill.

Mighty DOOM: B-Tier Weapons

Rocket Launcher

  • Type: Shoulder-Launched Weapon

Rocket Launcher is a weapon similar to BFG, which is used to destroy hordes of demons with a single rocket.

The difference is that Rocket Launcher missiles deal ballistic damage, and may not be as effective against demons who are immune to it. You can always use any of the secondary energy weapons to deal with those types instead.

Gauss Cannon

  • Type: Precision Rifle

Gauss Cannon is similar to Heavy Cannon, but with a lot less damage, and Plasma Rifle in regard of the type of ammo used in both.

You can still use it really well with certain upgrades that unlock after completing various stages, especially Ricochet that can really make every shot count.
