Creating efficient garden plots is an active past time for Palia players. Whether it be focusing on boosting crop quality, water retention, or optimal crop placement. Having a plant in the wrong space can completely throw off your layout. Mistakes happen, though, and you might put a crop down in the wrong plot. You may want to remove or move crops for situations like these, but can you move crops? Here’s the answer.
Can You Remove Crops in Palia
So here’s the bad news: if you plant a crop in the wrong spot or you simply didn’t want to plant that crop at all, you’re stuck with it. There’s currently no way to remove crops once planted. You’ll need to wait until the crop has finished all its harvests, such as four harvests for tomatoes, before you can plant something new in the space. This may change in the future since crop placement is such a topic of focus within the community, but for now you’ll have to wait.

If you’re only looking to move the soil plots, however, you’re still able to while crops are planted by using the control button pick up the plot. In this mode you can move the plot as well as rotate it. This is pretty handy if you need to move plots around to fit in a blueberry bush.
That’s all you need to know about removing crops in Palia. “Check twice and plant once,” is a good adage to keep in mind in this game. If there are any updates, such as the removal of crops being implemented, we’ll let you know. Until then, take a gander at our various Palia guides, including the mechanics of companion planting.
