Can You Release or Sell Pals in Palworld?

So you’ve caught and collected a variety of Pals. Maybe you caught multiple of the same Pal, but you don’t have unlimited space to keep them. So what do you do? Here, I’ll tell you if you can you release or sell Pals in Palworld.

How to Release and Sell Pals in Palworld

If you want more room in your Palbox, you have to get rid of Pals. I found this out quickly after I caught 30 Lamballs. Even though I wanted to keep them all (they’re adorable), having that many of the same Pal isn’t necessary. 

If you’ve played Pokemon, you might know that there’s a “Release” option to get rid of unwanted Pokemon. Unfortunately, Palworld doesn’t have a release mechanic. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t get rid of your Pals if you have too many. 

You can sell your Pals to Pal Merchants or Black Marketeers. Not only does this make room in your Palbox, but it’s also a great way to make money. The stronger and rarer the Pal, the more money you get. On top of that, these merchants also have rare and unique Pals that you can purchase.  

Other Ways to Get Rid of Pals in Palworld

If you’re in a rush to get rid of your Pals, there’s a faster but more heartbreaking and brutal way. If you’re ruthless enough, you can butcher your Pals to get rid of them. To butcher, Pals must craft the Meat Cleaver with x20 Wood, x5 Ingots, and x5 Stone.

Interact with the Pal and open the menu. Select Meat Cleaver, and Butcher replaces the Pet option. Click that option, and you’ll kill your Pal to make more room.
