Remnant 2: How to Get the Labyrinth Staff

Find a magic bridge to get the Labyrinth Staff in Remnant 2.

Remnant 2 has loads of secret weapons that you can stumble upon while exploring. One particular item is the Labyrinth Staff, which comes from an in-between world called the Labyrinth. It’s pretty well-hidden, too, since you need to pass through a portal whose destination keeps changing. Here’s how to get the Labyrinth Staff in Remnant 2. This weapon is also required to unlock the Archon class.

How to Get the Labyrinth Staff in Remnant 2

To get the Remnant 2 Labyrinth Staff, you need to cross the broken bridgeway near the Shifting Portal and defeat the Bastion aberration. There are, however, a few caveats to consider:

  • The game has dynamic campaign progression, so your starting zone is always randomized. However, once you clear your first zone, you’ll be transported to the Labyrinth as part of the story.
  • There are many secrets to be found in the Labyrinth, but the main requirement is to reach the Shifting Portal.

Shifting Portal and Labyrinth Staff Location

I continued to advance further in the Labyrinth by eliminating hostile enemies and picking up various items. Eventually, after I got past the Entangled Gauntlet section, I arrived at the Shifting Portal. During my initial visit, I was a bit surprised since its destination kept changing.

In any case, while facing the portal, look to your left. Eliminate the block enemies that you see and check below the leftmost side of the cliff to see ledges. If you drop down, a magical bridge will form under your feet. Thankfully, you won’t fall to your doom.

Advance and wait until a circular dais forms, allowing you to cross the gap. At the back of this chamber, you’ll see a purple item. That’s the Remnant 2 Labyrinth Staff. However, as you approach it, the Bastion aberration will spawn. Defeat it to obtain the Vengeful Strike mutator, and pick up the Labyrinth Staff as well.

Labyrinth Staff Stats

The Labyrinth Staff has the following features:

  • Damage: 64
  • Crit chance: 8%
  • Weak spot modifier: 95%
  • Stagger modifier: 5%
  • Perk: Basic strikes generate 10% additional mod power. Charge attacks perform an AoE that hits nearby enemies, dealing 75 damage and generating 50% additional mod power.

Although the Remnant 2 Labyrinth Staff doesn’t have a unique mod, its basic and charged attacks help you regain spent mod power for your weapons. In any case, don’t forget that the Labyrinth still hides many secrets, such as the Reprocessed Heart Relic and Enigma handgun.

That’s how to get the Labyrinth Staff in Remnant 2, an item needed to unlock the secret Archon class. For other tips and strategies, you can visit our R2 guides hub.
