To find the second composition to show Toadofsky, you’ll have to complete the main story in Moleville first. After you get the Star, you’ll want to go back into the Mole Mines. If you head back toward the end of the mine, there’ll be a group of moles. After you talk to one, they’ll sing you the Moleville Blues song. Some of the lyrics have the first two letters capitalized, and those are your notes. The composition of the Moville Blues is:

  • Mi
  • Do
  • So
  • Do
  • Re
  • La
  • Ti
  • Do

If you have a hard time reading musical notes like me, follow the picture I’ve added below.

After you show Toadofsky the Moleville Blues, you’ll receive the Tenor Card which is the upgraded version of the Alto Card. This new card allows you to buy Megalixirs from the Juice Bar. These will restore 150HP to all party Members.

How to Compose Melody Bay Tadpole Songs in Super Mario RPG

Once you enter Melody Bay, you’ll come across a pond resembling a music sheet. You’ll also meet Toadofsky, who is looking for new compositions. He’ll teach you each note on the music sheet. From top to bottom, the notes go:

  • Mi
  • Re
  • Do
  • Ti
  • La
  • So
  • Fa

When you try to compose a song, the tadpoles will move up and down the music sheet. You’ll have to jump on the tadpole at the right time to get your desired note. If you miss the timing, it will return, so take your time and don’t rush.
