Warzone DMZ Konni Soldiers Explained

For the uninitiated, Konni soldiers are bots that roam around the map and are supposed to offer players some action in between firefights with human players. The areas where these Konni soldiers can be found aren’t predetermined. They’re completely random.

Konni Soldier Locations in Warzone DMZ

The place to most reliably find Konni Soldiers is in Active Combat Zones.

Active Combat Zones — zones in which NPC factions fight each other — don’t show up on your map via an icon. Instead, it’s up to you to find them by focusing your search on Points of Interest (POIs) and looking for flight paths of killstreak deliveries (yes, NPCs can have killstreaks, too). Once you’ve stumbled onto an Active Combat Zone, look for NPC soldiers decked out in black outfits with red facemasks. And once you do, let ‘er rip!

Thinning the Herd Completion Requirements

To complete the Thinning of the Herd mission in Warzone DMZ, you’ll need to complete the following objectives:

  • Kill 5 Konni Soldiers on Al Mazrah.
  • Kill 6 Konni soldiers on Vondel.
  • Kill 5 Konni Soldiers on Ashika Island.

Now that you know where to find the Konnis and how to identify them, it shouldn’t be too difficult.
