Will CoD MW3 be on Game Pass? Answered

With the game’s official launch approaching, Xbox players are wondering whether they can grab the game via their pass. So let’s answer will CoD MW3 be on game pass.

The Xbox Game Pass has always been an efficient way to get lots of games for a fee. There are always great titles on offer. Snatching MW3 via the Game Pass would be neat. Is it possible though?

Can You Get CoD MW3 Via Game Pass?

In an early October post, Activision Blizzard announced on Twitter that Modern Warfare 3 won’t be coming to Game Pass as of yet. However, they also mentioned, “We anticipate that we would begin adding games into Game Pass sometime in the course of next year.” I have high hopes, especially since Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard on October 13. 

Considering the base price of the game is currently $69.99, snagging the game via the Game Pass would be a huge deal. That said, the Vault edition probably won’t be included in the pass. 

The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. It remains to be seen if other platforms like PlayStation Plus will eventually include MW3. For now, we can look forward to the launch on November 10, 2023. Players who are looking to get in a little early can pre-order the game and access it a week before launch. This is a great way to get used to the mechanics giving you an extra edge in multiplayer when other players access the game. That said, the playtests provided plenty of time for multiplayer practice.
