Xbox One Unboxing

This is a quick unboxing and overview of the Xbox One, Day One Edition.
This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

The time has come–an Xbox One is sitting on the table and all we have to do is rip it out and go! In this video, Stephen dives right in and shows all the components. I will say that the box it all came in was very nicely packed and organized.

Everything you would expect comes with the console. We have the Day One Edition so we may have some extras. Our Day One Edition came with the new, much larger, Kinect. One thing I did not know about the new Kinect is it has a built in tripod mount. Next you find the usual documentation. A nice goodie to come with the stack of papers is the Xbox One logo sticker.

After that you find:

  • Power Cable
  • Power Brick
  • HDMI Cable
  • Kinect cable.

Along with the cables you get a decent headset and the controller. Then, of course, after all the little gadgets and such you find the console itself.

The case in which you receive the Xbox One is very well made. Props, Microsoft, you made that feel a little bit more exciting.
