Finding the hot spring connoisseur that knows about the secret Simmerstone Springs can have you feeling like you’re on a wild goose chase. The lands around Death Mountain are home to a lot of hot springs that turn out to be vacant. Instead of wasting time going to all of them as I did, just head to the Goron Hot Springs south of Goron City.

There you’ll meet an elderly Goron that has been spring diving for years. He’ll have information on where the Simmerstone Springs are and even tell you the path to it has collapsed. With that, you’ll have your lead to the secret springs.

After getting the lead from the old Goron, head southeast to Gorko Tunnel at coordinates: (2009, 2039, 0424). There you’ll find a cave opening that goes directly to the Simmerstone Spring. Once you find this cave and put on your mining armor, getting to the secret springs is straightforward.

True to the old Goron’s words, there are two walls of boulders that block the path, so I’d suggest bringing a rock hammer or some bombs to clear the way. I came here with Yunobo’s ability, and that works wonders on rocks, too.

When you reach Simmerstone Springs, take a few steps into the water to trigger the cutscene, where Kima thanks you for doing the hard work. He’ll give you some Rupees for your troubles and some Hotspring Boiled Eggs. Before you leave the cave, head further ahead through the small gap to find a Bubbulfrog.

That’s how to find and complete the Simmerstone Springs quest in TotK. If you’re looking for more tips, tricks, and walkthroughs, be sure to keep checking our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom guides page.
