Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom — Where to Get Mighty Thistle in TotK

Here's where to find Mighty Thistle in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Mighty Thistle is just one of many items and ingredients that can be hard to locate across the vast expanse that is Hyrule. The ingredient can be cooked up to increase Link’s attack power, which has definitely given me an edge when I needed it most, and will for you, too, should you be able to track it down. And if you are, you’re in luck. Our guide tells you where to get Mighty Thistle in TotK.

You can find TotK Mighty Thistle throughout Hyrule in wetlands, cliffs, and forest areas. However, traipsing around without any direction can be a slog. The best and most reliable Mighty Thistle location is the small pond off the northwest corner of Piper Ridge. I managed to collect 7 Mighty Thistle here in short order, and there’s even a Korok seed in the area, making it well worth the trip.

The pond’s exact coordinates are (-3552, 0751, 0187). The location is marked on the screenshot of my in-game map above. Piper Ridge is located between Nero Hill and Rayne Highlands, and you can get there by traveling from Tabantha Bridge Stable or the Iun-orok Shrine (-3538, 0853, -0133) if you have it unlocked.

Does TotK Mighty Thistle Respawn?

Yes: Tears of the Kingdom Mighty Thistle respawns. You can revisit to the region after a Blood Moon event, which occurs after seven in-game days, or roughly three real-time hours. Unfortunately, you can’t trigger it by resting at a fire. However, you can drop a Travel Medallion in the location to quickly teleport back to Piper Ridge when the event occurs.
