New Overwatch Animated Short Gives You All the Hanzo and Genji Backstory You Could Want

Blizzard knows how to make some damn fine animated movies.  Now they’ve added another video to their already excellent Overwatch series leading up to the full retail release. 

This awesome short delves further into the backstory of the gunfire blocking cyborg ninja Genji and his brother Hanzo who has a thing for arrows and typically winning the play of the game with his damn ultimate. As Blizzard puts it:

“‘Dragons’ explores the history of conflict between the scions of the Shimada clan: Hanzo and Genji. In this episode, we follow Hanzo as he returns to the siblings’ family home in Hanamura once again to seek redemption . . . only this time, he finds himself confronted by the ghosts of the past.”

While this is a cool video on its own, one particular Source Filmmaker animator Krunkidile felt he could predict where this video might go before it was ever announced. What’s amazing is that he’s pretty spot on with how their backstory develops. Check it out below.
