Davey Wreden, co-creator of The Stanley Parable, is launching a new game that releases this week

October 1 is the release of Davey Wreden's new game The Beginner's Guide, but few details have been revealed.

Did you like the 2013 quirky Indie hit The Stanley Parable? If yes, you may be in for a treat: Davey Wreden, co-creator of the The Stanley Parable, is launching The Beginner's Guide, a brand new game.

The Beginner's Guide releases this Thursday, October 1, 2015, for Mac and PC.

The teaser site for the game tells nothing more than the release date and the platforms, but the graphic does seem to be that of a stage. Maybe that will have something to do with the game.

Some screenshots from the game seem to present a very surreal quality, maybe even a dreamlike one, as well.

According to tweets from those who have played the game, it has a mind-blowing story, Sven Bergström even writing that parts of his brain had "blue-screened."

Few other details on the game have been given. However, Wreden's Twitter has confirmed that the The Beginner's Guide will be a first person narrative and won't be released under the Galactic Cafe banner, as it is a solo project.

Are you excited for this new project? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Ok, so I've played it... and yep... I think blue-screened brain is correct. Now hopefully I can get my voice back working to just talk about it. Even if it's an hour long... I don't care. I think I just need to talk.
