Insomniac Games working on new Spider-Man game

Spidey's back and being worked on by the guys behind Ratchet and Clank.

Last month, it was rumored that Sucker Punch, creators of Infamous and Sly Cooper, would be working on an all-new, original Spider-Man game for PS4. During Sony's E3 conference, a new Spider-Man game is in-development...but Insomniac Games, the developer of Ratchet and Clank and Sunset Overdrive, is working on this latest game based on Marvel's Web-Slinger.

In the trailer, we see Spider-Man (voiced by Prince of Persia's Yuri Lowenthal) doing what he does: stopping crime, kickin' butt, and doing whatever a spider can. There's no word yet on a release date, but it can be confirmed that it is exclusive on PS4. There haven't been that many console-based Marvel games in a while -- the last console Spider-Man game was The Amazing Spider-Man 2 released back in 2014, which was met with negative reception and a 49 on Metacritic.
